Meet Your Matron & Patron

Envision yourself walking through a beautiful naturescape where all is peaceful and safe.

Take note of what it looks like to you.

Is it a forest, a beach, a jungle, a desert? Is it day or night?

What kind of creatures do you meet along the way?

After walking through your naturescape for a while, envision yourself coming to a place to sit.

There is a place for you, and there are other chairs as well.

This could be mossy rocks, sand dunes on the beach, a little cottage in the woods with a table and chairs, or anything else.

Sit down in one of the chairs, and ask your goddess and god to visit with you there.

Wait patiently, and see who comes to fill the empty seats!

Ask the deities to identify themselves, and converse with them as you would loved and respected mentors and friends.

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Hello My Loves!

Have you missed me?

I've missed you!

I've been wanting to get my website and blog together so much that I ended up not blogging at all.  BUT today there was this definite resurgence to WRITE and get it out there!

So much is happening!

First, if you've been watching my YouTube channel, then you heard about the idea of Patron and Matron that had been on my mind.  I was directed to The Lovely Little Witch, and although she isn't offering God and Goddess readings at the moment, she was able to provide me with the loveliest meditation/visualization that allowed them to come visit me and tell me who they are. (I will relay the meditation in another post.)

::DRUMROLL PLEASE::

My Patron & Matron are Anubis & Hekate. (for now)

I'll have to write another post to describe my initial encounter with them, but oh my, it was so perfect and beautiful.

So, now I am in the beginning stages of getting to know them and what it is that they are wanting to work together with me on.

I am learning more about the welcoming ceremony and incorporating them into my life.

I have really just felt so energized and creative and ready to get started!

AND the strangest and strongest idea came to me today: TO BECOME A NURSE!

Hekate, I know, loves transitions, so I am wondering if perhaps this is a new path I will be embarking on...(My Masters degree is in Developmental Disabilities and Applied Behavior Analysis.  And I was planning to get my Doctorates in Marriage and Family Therapy...).  I have begun looking into different programs, though.  I feel I am most wanting to learn the anatomy and be a general practitioner, to become adept in the healing processes and aide my family, those close to me, and those who are led to work with me. (And help myself too, of course.)  RITUAL just became a big bold word.  I know Anubis works with the ceremonial rites of passage into the underworld and mummification.  I'm thinking that building my altar for him will become important.

Other things are in the works, but again, I feel they will be in another post.

I really just wanted to pop my head in and give you a glimpse of all that is happening on this end.

Stay tuned, because this time I will not be gone for long.

(I haven't even begun to talk about Samhain either!)

'Til then my love :*
